Refund Policy
What you can expect if you want your money back. In short: you have a 14-day right of withdrawal that you can waive in exchange for immediate access — and there are situations we refund regardless, because the law says so and because it is right.
The short version
You have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. If you ask for immediate access to the platform — which is what the checkout checkboxes are for — you waive that right, and the general rule becomes no refund for change of mind. Independently of all that, we always refund a duplicate payment, a billing error, a plan we failed to supply, or a legally recognised lack of conformity. You can cancel future renewals at any time, without giving a reason.
This policy applies to all purchases, subscriptions, plans and digital access acquired through the Norwic Finance platform, operated by Norwic Finance. It forms part of the Terms & Conditions.
1. Your 14-day right of withdrawal
As a consumer buying at a distance in the EU, you generally have 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw from it, without giving any reason and without penalty.
If you have not waived that right (see section 2), you may withdraw within 14 days by sending an unambiguous statement to norwicfinance@gmail.com. You do not need to use a particular form, though the model withdrawal form annexed to the Consumer Rights Directive is accepted. We will confirm receipt and reimburse you within 14 days of being informed.
2. Immediate access and waiver of the right of withdrawal
Norwic Finance is digital content supplied immediately: the moment you subscribe, the research library, dashboards and briefs are available to you. Under EU law, the right of withdrawal is lost for digital content supplied immediately where three conditions are met, and we ask you to confirm each of them separately at checkout:
- you give prior express consent for performance to begin during the withdrawal period;
- you acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal; and
- we provide you with confirmation of that agreement on a durable medium.
If you do not give that consent, immediate access cannot be provided — the alternative is to wait out the 14-day period before access begins.
Once immediate access has been provided under those conditions, refund requests based on regret, change of mind, non-use, impulse purchase, subjective expectations, failure to achieve intended results, or simply deciding to stop using the service will not be accepted.
We keep a record of your acceptance — date, time, plan and boxes ticked — as evidence of that consent.
3. Cases we always refund
Regardless of the above, and regardless of whether you waived withdrawal, you are entitled to a refund where:
- Duplicate payment — you were charged twice for the same period or plan.
- Billing error — you were charged the wrong amount, charged after a valid cancellation, or charged for a plan you did not purchase.
- Non-supply — you paid but access was never provided, or the plan you paid for was not the plan you received.
- Lack of conformity — the digital content does not conform to the contract in the sense of the applicable legislation on digital content and services, and the problem cannot be brought into conformity within a reasonable time.
- Unauthorised payment — a charge made without your authorisation, once verified.
In these cases we refund the amount affected, and where the failure covers a whole billing period, the whole period. You do not need to invoke a specific legal provision — describe what happened and we will apply the correct treatment.
4. Cases we do not refund
Unless the law requires otherwise, we do not refund where:
- you changed your mind after requesting immediate access;
- you subscribed and did not use the platform;
- you expected a feature that was not advertised on the plan you bought;
- the research did not produce the financial results you hoped for;
- you forgot to cancel before a renewal date;
- the account was suspended or terminated for breach of the Terms & Conditions;
- you attempted to share, resell, copy or systematically extract the content;
- you opened a chargeback without contacting us first.
Investment performance is never a ground for a refund. Norwic Finance publishes research, not advice, and makes no promise about outcomes — see the Financial Disclaimer. The free Essential plan exists precisely so you can judge the product before paying.
5. Subscriptions and renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You are responsible for cancelling before the next billing date; you can do that at any time from your account area or by writing to us.
Cancelling stops future charges. It does not automatically generate a refund of amounts already charged, and we do not, as a rule, refund pro-rata for a partially used period — access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
If a renewal is charged after you cancelled, that is a billing error under section 3 and is refunded in full.
6. Quotas, credits and digital packages
Where a plan includes a quota of new analyses, credits, generations or requests, these are treated as consumed when they are generated, processed or made available to your account. Consumed units are not refundable.
Promotional bundles, discounted offers, beta plans and early-access campaigns follow the same rule once access is activated.
7. Technical problems
If something is not working, contact norwicfinance@gmail.com and include: the account email, the plan, the purchase date, a description of the problem, a screenshot if possible, and the device, browser and operating system you used. We will try to resolve it within a reasonable time.
Temporary errors, planned maintenance, slowness, partial failures or momentary unavailability do not automatically entitle you to a refund. Nor do problems caused by an unsupported device, unstable connection, browser extensions, VPNs or content blockers. A total and prolonged inability to access the service caused by us does — see section 3.
8. How to request a refund
Send an email to norwicfinance@gmail.com with the subject “Refund request”, including:
- your full name;
- the email address on the account;
- proof of payment or the invoice number;
- the purchase date and the plan;
- the reason for the request.
Incomplete requests may need to wait until we have what we need to review them.
9. Timeline and method
We aim to review requests within 5 business days. Where a refund is legally due, we process it within the statutory period — as a rule, 14 days from the date we are informed of your decision or accept the request.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method, unless that is technically impossible or you agree otherwise. Your bank or card issuer may take a few additional days to show the credit. Submitting a request does not, in itself, guarantee approval outside the cases in section 3.
10. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank — nearly every case is resolved faster directly. If a chargeback is opened, the account may be suspended while the case is reviewed, and we may provide the payment processor with evidence of access, acceptance of the terms, consent to immediate access and account history.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in permanent termination of the account and refusal of future access.
11. Statutory rights prevail
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived by contract. Where this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal rule, the legal rule prevails. Your rights and the ways to enforce them are summarised on the Consumer rights page.
