1. Who we are

The Norwic Finance platform (the “Service”) is operated by Norwic Finance (“we”, “us”), based in Porto, Portugal.

You can reach us at norwicfinance@gmail.com for any question relating to these terms, your account or your subscription.

By creating an account, purchasing a plan or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions, together with the Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy and the Financial Disclaimer, which form an integral part of this agreement.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract in order to use the Service.

2. Object of the service

Norwic Finance provides digital research content and tools: market briefs, structured company and macro analyses, sector reads, calendars, dashboards, screens and archives, according to the plan purchased.

The Service is entirely digital. Access is granted immediately after payment confirmation and does not involve the shipment of any physical product.

The features included in each plan are described on the plans section of our website at the time of purchase. We describe what each plan includes in plain terms; where a plan includes a quota of new analyses, that quota is stated on the plans page and enforced by the platform.

3. Nature of the information provided

All content, reports, analyses, verdicts, price targets, scores, data and outputs published through the Service are informational research content. They are general in nature, produced for a broad audience, and are not personalised investment advice and not a personal recommendation.

Norwic Finance is not a regulated investment adviser or financial intermediary and does not carry out any activity reserved to entities registered with the CMVM (Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários). Nothing in the Service should be construed as financial, legal, tax or accounting advice. Full detail is set out in our Financial Disclaimer.

Research published by Norwic Finance is produced with the assistance of automated systems, including large language models, and is reviewed under human editorial supervision before publication. Automated systems can produce errors, omissions, incomplete interpretations or outdated information. Our editorial controls are described in full on the Method page.

We do not guarantee specific results, profits, financial performance, market outcomes, the absolute accuracy of third-party data, or that any output is suitable for your particular objectives, financial situation or risk tolerance. You are responsible for your own decisions and for independently verifying any information you rely on.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through your account.

Every plan is a single seat. Sharing, reselling, lending, sub-licensing or otherwise allowing third-party access to your account is prohibited unless expressly authorised by us in writing.

Detected account sharing, resale of access, scraping, reverse engineering, automated harvesting or bulk copying of content may lead to suspension or termination of the account without refund, without prejudice to our other legal rights.

You must give us an email address that you control and keep it up to date. Service notices, billing notices and password resets are sent to that address.

5. Plans, payments and access

Access to paid features depends on the purchase of a plan or subscription. Prices, features and conditions of each plan are displayed before purchase, including VAT where applicable.

Payments are processed by our payment provider acting as merchant of record. We never receive or store your full card details. The merchant of record is responsible for issuing the invoice and for handling VAT/OSS where applicable.

After payment is confirmed, you may receive immediate access to the digital content and features included in the plan purchased. Failure to pay, a reversed payment or a failed renewal may lead to suspension of access.

We may change our prices. Price changes apply to renewals from the next billing period after we notify you, and never retroactively to a period already paid.

6. Immediate access and the right of withdrawal

Under EU and Portuguese consumer law you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content and services supplied immediately, that right is lost once performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose it.

Accordingly, before immediate access is provided you are asked to confirm expressly, through separate checkboxes at checkout, that:

  1. you request immediate performance of the service and supply of the digital content;
  2. you understand that access includes digital content, tools, reports, dashboards and outputs of immediate use; and
  3. you acknowledge that, by receiving immediate access and beginning to use the digital service before the end of the 14-day period, you lose your right of withdrawal under the applicable law.

Without that express acceptance, immediate access cannot be provided. We keep a record of your acceptance (date, time, plan and boxes ticked) in order to document that consent. Your statutory rights are summarised on the Consumer rights page.

7. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

As a general rule, once payment is confirmed, immediate access has been provided and use of the digital content has begun, no refund is granted for change of mind, non-use, subjective mismatch with expectations, failure to achieve intended results, or forgetting to cancel.

This does not limit mandatory consumer rights, in particular in the event of non-supply of the service, duplicate payment, billing error or legally recognised lack of conformity.

8. Subscriptions and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods until cancelled. You may cancel future renewals at any time from your account area or by writing to norwicfinance@gmail.com.

Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of a period already paid or partially used. Access normally remains active until the end of the period already paid, except where the account is terminated for breach of these terms.

9. Quotas and usage limits

Where a plan includes a quota of new analyses, a number of requests, or a rate limit, those limits are part of the plan you purchased and are enforced by the platform. Reopening research you have already generated within the applicable window does not consume a new quota unit.

Quota units, credits or generations already consumed are not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.

We apply fair-use and anti-abuse controls to protect service availability for all subscribers. Automated or excessive querying that degrades the Service for others may be rate-limited or blocked.

10. Prohibited use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • carry out illegal, fraudulent or abusive activity;
  • infringe intellectual-property rights;
  • attempt to access third-party systems, accounts or data, or to circumvent security or payment mechanisms;
  • copy, resell, redistribute or commercially exploit platform content without written authorisation;
  • scrape, mirror or systematically extract content, including by automated means;
  • republish our research as your own, or present it to third parties as personalised advice;
  • use outputs as a substitute for professional advice where such advice is legally required.

11. Availability and changes to the service

We may change, update, remove or replace features, models, dashboards, content, data sources, integrations or visual elements whenever we consider it necessary to improve, maintain or protect the Service.

Maintenance windows, temporary unavailability, technical errors, third-party data-provider failures, API limitations or interruptions outside our direct control may occur. We aim to resolve relevant technical problems within a reasonable time, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

If a material feature of your paid plan is permanently withdrawn during a period you have already paid for, contact us — that situation is handled under the exceptions in the Refund Policy.

12. Intellectual property

All content, trade marks, texts, reports, dashboards, code, designs, charts, structures and methodologies of the Service belong to Norwic Finance or to their respective owners. Third-party market data remains the property of the providers from which it is sourced.

Purchasing a plan grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your own investment research. It transfers no ownership rights.

You may quote short extracts of our published research for personal, editorial or academic purposes, provided you attribute them to Norwic Finance and link to the source page. Systematic redistribution is not permitted.

13. Suspension or termination of the account

We may suspend or terminate access in the event of breach of these terms, abusive use, fraud, improper chargeback attempts, account sharing, resale of access, systematic copying of content, or behaviour that harms the security or operation of the platform.

In those cases, and unless the law requires otherwise, no refund is due. You may close your account at any time; closing your account does not automatically delete data we are legally required to retain, as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Norwic Finance is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, lost opportunity, reputational damage, or for decisions taken on the basis of, or in reliance on, content published through the Service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer-protection rules.

Where our liability is not excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

15. Personal data

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, on what legal basis, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights under the GDPR.

By using the Service you acknowledge that certain data is necessary for account creation, billing, security, support, abuse prevention and compliance with legal obligations.

16. Complaints and support

Support requests, complaints and questions about payments, access or platform operation should be sent to norwicfinance@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge messages within a reasonable time.

We may ask for additional information to verify your identity, the purchase made and the account history before acting on a request.

If a complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, the routes available to you as a consumer — including the Portuguese electronic complaints book and alternative dispute resolution — are listed on the Consumer rights page.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. As a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country in which you are habitually resident, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of that country.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the platform or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
